No wonder the momentous Republic Day was arrived at after two-and-a-half-years worth of efforts to finalise the Constitution of India in 1950 after India achieved its independence from the British Rule. This day, 26th<\/sup> Jan., India marks the official adoption of the Constitution of India by the Independent Government of India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
