The World Agriculture Forum (WAF) has successfully concluded a six-country tour across Europe and Africa, strengthening international partnerships and advancing its agenda on sustainable agriculture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The delegation held high-level engagements in Malta, Spain, Ethiopia and Ghana, while also expanding its institutional presence through the launch of Country Councils in Morocco, Nigeria and Kenya. The move is aimed at strengthening localized engagement and fostering policy and investment alignment across regions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the visit, the delegation met with the President of Malta and the country\u2019s Agriculture Minister, discussing avenues for collaboration in agricultural innovation and sustainability. In Ethiopia, strategic discussions were held with government stakeholders on co-hosting the Africa Agribusiness and Investment Summit, positioning the country as a key partner in driving regional agricultural growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The tour also saw enhanced cooperation with the Government of Nigeria, focusing on scaling agribusiness opportunities and strengthening food systems. In a significant development, the Government of Kenya announced its decision to host major WAF initiatives in Nairobi, underlining the country\u2019s growing role as a hub for agricultural dialogue and investment in Africa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to officials, the multi-country engagement represents a pivotal step in deepening global partnerships and accelerating efforts toward resilient food systems, sustainable agriculture, and inclusive agribusiness growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
