On Tuesday (June 17, 2025) in a seemingly never-ending air campaign on Tehran leading to evacuation of 700 foreigners to neighbouring Azerbaijan and Armenia, the Indian Embassy has urged Indian nationals and People of Indian Origin living in Iran to move off to a safer location.
Meanwhile, Israel has lifted air raid warnings across critical cities after having intercepted “most” barrage of incoming missiles charged from Iran.
As per the statement issued to the media, Israeli military forces said to have launched “several missiles” and “intercepted most of them”.
In a fresh social media post, President Donald Trump went on to point out the hide-out of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei but expressed him not being killed “for now”, adding Iran’s “unconditional surrender” even as the five-day Israel-Iran conflict continues to escalate since Israel launched blitzkrieg on Tehran.
“Escalation of conflict between Israel and Iran led to more than 600 citizens of 17 countries evacuating from Iran via Azerbaijan,” said AFP quoting from Government agency.
